Monoblocks (with accompanying preamplifier), although part of Ampino
series, share only name and format with the little integrated (and
stereo power) amplifier. They are actually in completely different
league and could be paired with very expensive speakers. Owners of Monos are very happy how sensitive (in a positive sense) and revealing they are when it comes to pairing (with speakers, cables and preamps). Ampino separates are very attractive and they can cope with very high speakers easily. With two pairs of output transistors they can easily drive low impedance speakers or speakers with impedance dips. Paired with proper speakers Ampino Monos (especially custom version) can offer HighEnd sound in unconventional form factor. |
